2021 Volvo XC40 R-Design installed with a detachable swan neck tow bar and Volvo dedicated tow wiring configured for trailers, caravans and cycle carriers. Although this example is very dirty the XC40 R-Design has a lower gloss black bumper section, this needs to be modified on the underside, nothing visible from the exterior unless looking under the car.
2015 Volvo XC70 installed with a detachable swan neck towbar and 13pin fully populated caravan wiring. We have used a Volvo dedicated towbar wiring loom.
2020 Peugeot 5008 GT Line installed with a Brink detachable towbar and 13pin swivel electrics. This Brink towbar is the BMA system which is nice and easy to operate. The Peugeot dedicated wiring keep the manufactures warranty in tact. This Peugeot 5008 is the 2017 onwards T87 facelift model.
2021 BMW 118 M-Sport with the M-Performance bodykit (f40 chassis) installed with a Witter removable Swan Neck towbar and BMW vehicle specific and dedicated wiring loom. Once hooked up the vehicle will enter ‘towing mode’ which will certain characteristics on the vehicle. Bulb monitoring on the trailer/caravan, rear pdc auto cut-off, rear fog light auto off, trailer stability enabled, auto hold handbrake adjusted.
2018 Ford Edge Sport Tow Trust detachable towbar with interactive dedicated towing electrics. All hidden underneath the sporty bumper.
2019 Land Rover Discovery 5 fitted with a Witter R54Q detachable swan neck.
This Witter towbar only fits correctly by purchasing a new lower bumper valance from Land Rover.
Nothing can be seen once detachable neck has been removed.

2022 Mercedes GLB X247 installed with a detachable Westfalia swan neck towbar. This GLB is an AMG Line bumper model so we have purchased and replaced the lower bumper insert rather than cutting the two central fins. The 13pin Mercedes dedicated wiring loom was installed and coded into the ECU.
2022 Land Rover Defender 110/LWB X-Dynamic Se installed with Tow-Trust fixed flange towbar. Towing capacity 3500kg, vertical nose limit 350kg!! Detachable Swan neck also available with same 3500kg but with a reduced nose weight capacity of 202kg.

2024 Nissan X-Trail T33 towbar installation.
Nissan x trail epower e4orce installed with a detachable towbar and 13pin caravan electrics. We have used a Nissan dedicated wiring kit.
Very little can be seen once towbar is detached and electric socket rotated upwards. We have modified the rear bumper diffuser, this is on the underside only so not visible.

2020 Kia E-Niro electric car installed with a cycle carrier specific towbar. This Brink detachable tow bar design is specifically for the Kia Electric Niro and for the purpose of carrying bicycles only. The special design towball stops normal trailers from being able to hitch up. Compatible with a wide range of cycle carriers but not every carrier, we have a list available for tried and tested compatible systems. We have installed a 13pin socket which is on a swivel bracket hidden under the bumper neatly.
2021 Audi A4 allroad quattro installed with a removable towbar package and Audi dedicated electrics which we code to the vehicle to give enhanced ‘towing specific features’. Auto PDC cut-off, auto rear fog cut-off, electric handbrake adjust, electric tailgate via remote inop when towing, E TSP enabled etc etc
No visible bumper modifications so clean lines still.
2020 Ford Transit Custom towbar & camera via Sync radio.
We have installed a Fixed Flange towbar with 13pin Ford dedicated wiring, coded to the vehicle. A rear parking camera was also installed and viewed via the Sync radio. You can see the towball in the image which is perfect for driving up to trailers. The fixed flange towbar does not interfere with the Ford rear parking sensors.
Audi Q3 2011-2018 model installed with a Towtrust removable swan neck towbar and dedicated Westfalia approved wiring all coded in-house and fully operational. When towing the car will automatically change various features on the car, some safety related and others comfort like turning of the rear park sensors for you.

2018 Mercedes E400 Coupe AMG Line (c238 chassis) installed with a removable tow bar and Mercedes dedicated electrics that we coded to the vehicle. This type of electrical installation integrates into the Mercedes ECU Network, the car will know when you are towing and adjust particular elements accordingly.
If you look very carefully we made a very small neat modification to the lower AMG Line bumper diffuser.
We did not need to reposition the Mercedes foot sensor for auto boot opening.

Vauxhall Zafira Tourer with add blue and spare wheel underneath installed with a Westfalia removable towbar and 13pin Vauxhall dedicated CANbus wiring. Dashboard warns of bulb failures on trailer or caravan and automatically turns off rear park assist when hitched up.
2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 installed with a Brink Detachable swan neck tow bar and Hyundai 13pin dedicated wiring installation.
We have trimmed the underside of the rear bumper. Once the detachable neck is removed and socket rotated upward’s behind the bumper the towing parts are 99% hidden.

Mercedes C220 (s205 chassis) Estate installed with a Removable Swan Neck towbar using a Tow-Trust quick release tow bar. Once neck is quick released and towing socket swiveled away nothing can be seen from behind. 13pin Mercedes dedicated and approved electrics used which gives bulb monitoring and rear automatic rear parking sensors turn off when towing.
2016 BMw 420 Gran Coupe (f36 chassis) installed with Westfalia 303352 detachable swan neck towbar and 7pin BMW specific wiring loom which is on a swivel bracket. Once neck detached and socket is swiveled nothing can be seen unless you look underneath the car.
2017 BMW x5 (f15) X5M series installed with a detachable Tow-Trust tow bar. No bumper cut or modification required. BMW Approved wiring fully integrates with the vehicles CANbus network. This towbar will be compatible with AL-KO stabilisers commonly seen on modern caravans.

2022 Ford Kuga mk3 (CX482 chasssis) installed with a detachable swan neck towbar and 13pin Ford dedicated wiring which we coded to the ECU. The particular Kuga is a ST-Line X model that dosent require any visible bumper modification, just a little mod underneath.
2023 ID Buzz installed with a detachable towbar and genuine VW parking camera via the Volkswagen Radio display with moving guidlines.
2021 Hyundai i20 hatch Witter fixed swan neck tow bar and 7pin cycle carrier electrics. This car had factory fitted parking which were unaffected by the towbar.
2019 Audi Q5 (FY) installed with a Westfalia detachable swan neck towbar and associated Audi integrated electrical system.
2018 Land Rover Discovery 5 installed with a Detachable Tow-Trust towbar. Original lower bumper valance was not replaced, just slightly trimmed on the underside. Most other tow bars for the Discovery mk5 require a replacement lower bumper valance direct from Land Rover which pushes the overall cost of the job up.

2021 BMW X7 M50d installed with a removable towing package. Once the towing neck has been removed nothing can be seen unless you are underneath the vehicle. The 13pin caravan socket is hidden under the bumper and swivels down when required.
New 2019 Ford Focus mk4 having a detachable/removable swan neck towbar installed. We used a Brink removable system and a 7pin trailer socket to meet our customers requirements.
2017 Volkswagen Touareg R-Line edition installed with a removable Westfalia tow bar and 13pin fully populated caravan socket which swivels up under the bumper when not in use. The Westfalia VW dedicated wiring kit we used puts the vehicle into towing mode whilst hitched up. You will see some of the advantages of this system in the pictures below.

2016 F31 BMW 520 M Sport installed with a detachable swan neck towbar and BMW vehicle specific CANbus wiring. Minimal lower valance modification which cant be seen unless underneath.
2019 G31 5 Series Estate installed with Westfalia removable tow hitch and BMW dedicated tow wiring.
2018 Skoda Fabia hatchback (NJ chassis) installed with Westfalia removable swan neck tow bar and Skoda vehicle specific wiring to integrate into existing Skoda electronics giving a safe, reliable and efficient connection. Although a fairly large visible bumper cut is required on this particular bumper version it does look much worse on a white car. The same Westfalia tow bar installation on a darker colour really takes the eye away.

Once coded correctly the vehicle will enter ‘trailer mode’ when hitched up, this will enable additional safety features on the car to make towing safer.
2018 Seat Ateca (SE376) installed with a removable tow bar and SEAT approved and integrated CANbus wiring with 13pin socket for a cycle carrier.
2023 Skoda Octavia Estate mk4 installed with a Westfalia detachable towbar and replacement lower bumper diffuser. We have removed the original lower rear bumper section and replaced with genuine Skoda towing diffuser which is restyled to allow an invisible bumper cut underneath the vehicle. Without this panel a large visible cut would be required.
The 13pin dedicated towing electrics once coded integrate into the Skoda management system, essentially informs the car when you are towing so changes can be made to the cars software. This makes towing safer.
2016 Audi RS6 (c7 facelift) installed with a removable towbar and electric socket suitable for cycle carriers using a Audi Dedicated wiring kit. This RS6 already had the removable towing panel built into the lower rear bumper diffuser. This simply pops of when you want to tow.
You must check your RS6 has been homologated to tow by Audi, see the last two pictures. If it hasn’t the 2nd line of weights will be empty.
Vauxhall Astra (k / mk7) Estate installed with a Witter G123S Fixed Swan Neck towbar and 13pin socket for a cycle carrier. The factory rear parking sensors were not affected by the towbar installation and operated exactly as they did before.

2006 Mercedes ML500 (w614 chassis) installed with a Fixed Flange heavy duty towbar and 7pin electrics for towing a horse trailer. This particular Mercedes M-Class has a 3500kg towing capacity.
2014 / E71 BMW X6 M50d installed with a detachable Westfalia towbar, 13pin BMW dedicated wiring and using a new replacement lower bumper trim from BMW which comes pre-painted in silver. When you have finished towing you can refit the central silver panel making this BMW X6M look like is dosent have a tow bar fitted.
2022 Hyundai KONA hybrid MEV installed with a Witter detachable swan neck towbar. We have used a Hyundai dedicated wiring harness suitable for cycle carriers and trailers.
We also supplied the Witter ZX702 Tow Bar Mounted two Bike Cycle Carrier Pure Instinct for electrica and non-electric push bikes.
This Hyundai Kona hybrid has a 1300kg towing capacity.

2018 Volkswagen Tiguan mk2 R-Line 4Motion installed with a removable Tow-Trust towbar package using a 13pin Vw Dedicated wiring suitable for a cycle carrier and trailer. The vehicle specific trailer module we install is coded into the vehicles CAN Network/Gateway in-house, this will unlock and enable the correct vehicle functions/adaptions for towing.

2020 Audi A4 Avant / Estate b9.1 facelift model installed with a removable Tow Trust towbar and Audi dedicated 13pin electrical socket suitable for trailers, caravans and push bikes. Rear Parking sensors are automatically turned off when hitched up (see radio display). Vehicle will also monitor the bulbs on the item being towed, giving audible and visual warnings should the a fault occur.
2023 Cupra Formentor VZN towbar installation.
We have installed a Tow-Trust detachable swan neck towbar with a 13pin Cupra dedicated wiring loom which is coded and integrates to the cars electronic systems.
This particular Cupra model already had a large bumper diffuser opening so no need for any bumper modifications.
2013 Audi A6 Allroad Estate/C7 model having a Westfalia Detachable Swan Neck towbar installed with Audi specific dedicated trailer socket. This towbar did not interfere with the parking sensors nor did we have to cut or modify the bumper even though it had a Projex rear diffuser installed.

2021 All electric Jaguar I-PACE installed with a Brink detachable towbar and Jaguar dedicated wiring harness. The Jaguar I-PACE has a 750 kg towing capacity. The 13pin wiring harness offers all light outputs suitable for trailers and cycle carriers. Pin 9 for Caravan ATC is optional, Pin 10 for leisure battery charging is not approved by Jaguar.
The underside of the rear black bumper diffuser must be cut, this is not particularly visible unless viewing at ground level, see last image.

2023 Vauxhall Grandland Hybrid towbar installation. We have installed a Westfalia detachable towbar and 7pin trailer socket using Vauxhall dedicated and vehicle specific tow bar wiring. The final part of this tow bar installation is coding the Vauxhall’s ECU which tells the car when you are and are not towing. This gives the additional features like automatically cutting off rear parking sensors whilst towing.
Tow Trust detachable towbar installed to this Seat Leon St. The shelf style bumper hides he electrics away when not in use. We have used Seat Approved electrics which require ECU updating, also completed in-house to give bulb warnings and rear pdc cut-off when towing.

Ford Transit Custom 2017 Detachable Towbar installation using a Tow Trust system which is invisible once detached. The towing socket also swivels up out the way. This Custom has an AT Bodykits rear skirt which didn’t need cutting either.
2017 Nissan Juke installed with a Westfalia a40v Detachable Swan Neck tow bar and 13pin Thule cycle carrier socket. Neither towbar housing or socket can be seen once the neck is removed and socket rotated up behind the bumper.

We have modified the underside of this GT Line bumper however it is all done underneath. The factory fitted rear parking sensors were not affected by the presence of the fixed swan neck tow bar.

2020 Range Rover Evoque L551 (mk2 model) installed with a removable Tow-Trust towbar and Land Rover dedicated wiring kit (vehicle specific). This towbar design only required a modification to the underside of the original central lower bumper panel, this can only be seen if you are under the vehicle. The 13pin electrical socket swivels up under the bumper when not in use.
Installation time is 4 hours at our workshop in Bristol.
2020 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line installed with a Fixed Swan Neck towbar and 7pin VW Approved wiring and socket. This fixed towbar does not interfere with the rear parking sensors.
2019 onwards Range Rover Evoque L551 installed with Detachable Westfalia tow bar and Land Rover Approved dedicated wiring mounted to a swivel socket just under the bumper.
2024 BMW iX1 detachable towbar fitting.
We have installed a detachable tow bar to the new BMW iX1 fully electric SUV. Using a 13pin BMW dedicated wiring harness and fully removable swan neck towbar. The removable towbar neck is removed in seconds and leaves the car looking like it has no towbar fitted.
The underside of the bumper needs modification but not visible unless underneath the car.
This towbar installation took around 3.5 hours at our workshop in Bristol.

2020 Ford Transit Custom MRST Tuning installed with a detachable Tow-Trust tow bar and 13pin Ford specific wiring for cycle carrier and trailers. This 2020 euro 6.2 version has slightly different wiring to the euro 6.1 engines. The lower bumper section needed a slight modification on the underside to allow access to the electrical socket and handle to release the removable towbar.
2022 Range Rover Velar R-Dynamic towbar (coil suspension) installed with a detachable swan neck towbar and Land Rover dedicated 13pin wiring.
No need to remove the towing panel but is does need to be modified so you can access the detachable housing and swivel towing socket.
2020 Mercedes E200 Saloon W213 chassis installed with a detachable Tow-Trust towbar and 13pin Mercedes dedicated electrics on a swivel bracket. Once the neck is removed nothing can be seen on this new E Class.
2024 Nissan Qashqai J12 towbar installation. We have installed a detachable swan neck towbar with 13pin Nissan dedicated (vehicle specific) wiring.
No bumper modifications are required.

Kia Sportage 2016 (facelift) installed with a Fixed Swan Neck towbar. The factory fitted rear parking camera looks directly onto the towball hitch will make hitching p much easier. Factory rear parking sensors were unaffected by the towbar presence.
2017 Porsche Macan-S installed with a Westfalia detachable swan neck towbar and Porsche dedicated and approved 13pin caravan wiring.
2018 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport hatch installed with a Witter detachable towbar. The Witter removable tow bar car barely been seen once the swan neck is detached and electric socket swiveled up behind bumper. We installed a 13pin Vauxhall dedicated wiring kit which communicates with the cars electronics to make towing safer.
mk4 / 2016 Honda Cr-V Black Edition fitted with a Tow Trust Fixed Swan Neck tow bar with 13pin Caravan Wiring. The fixed swan tow hook does not interfere with the factory fitted rear parking sensors.
2021 Audi E-Tron Technik 50 Quattro installed with a detachable tow bar and 13pin Audi dedicated wiring, coded to the vehicle. The all electric Audi E-Tron has a towing capacity of 1800kg which is very impressive and much better than rival manufacturers.
This particular Etron Technik model required a modification to the underside of rear bumper valance. This is not seen unless you look underneath.
This towbar fitting takes around 4 hours at our workshop in Bristol.
2019 Audi Q3 (f3 chassis) Witter Removable towbar with 13pin Audi dedicated and approved wiring. In house ECU Coding ensures the new trailer module communicates with all other necessary modules within the car.
2020 BMW 118d (f40 chassis) installed with a Westfalia Detachable Swan Neck towbar and BMW vehicle specific dedicated wiring loom. Once hooked up the vehicle will enter ‘towing mode’ which will certain characteristics on the vehicle. Bulb monitoring on the trailer/caravan, rear pdc auto cut-off, rear fog light auto off, trailer stability enabled, auto hold handbrake adjusted.
Mercedes E Class Estate S213 E400 model fitted with a removable Tow-Trust towbar and 13pin Mercedes E-Class specific towbar wiring which is coded into the vehicle to give enhanced features.
2021 Kia Sportage Gt Line edition installed with a Tow Trust Fixed Swan Neck towbar and 7pin trailer electrics using Kia dedicated and approved wiring system. This fixed towbar did not affect the operation of the rear parking sensors and no modification were done to the bumper itself.
2022 BMW IX3 towbar installation using a detachable towbar manufactured in the UK by Tow-Trust. Only a very small modification required to the underside of rear bumper (not visible). We have used a ECS dedicated BMW wiring loom. This communication with the existing electronics to make towing the BMW IX3 fully electric car safer.
The all electric BMW IX3 has a 750kg towing capacity!
2024 p460e Range Rover Sport L461 towbar installation.
We have installed a detachable swan neck towbar with 13pin Land Rover dedicated (vehicle specific) wiring. The car recognises when the vehicle is hitched up and changes various vehicle settings to make towing safer.
We also supply the new towing panel (lower central bumper diffuser) which is shaped to accommodate the new detachable towbar. We return the original lower central bumper diffuser to the customer for future fitment (if required).
Step by Step guide:
- Remove entire bumper
- Remove boot floor trims
- Remove OE crash beam (return to customer)
- Install new towbar
- Install towing electrics
- Remove OE lower central bumper diffuser from main bumper
- Install new lower central bumper diffuser to main bumper
- Complete test and checks
- Rebuild vehicle
- Return OE crash beam and OE lower central bumper diffuser to customer

2018 BMW 5 Series Saloon (g30 chassis) installed with a Tow Trust removable towbar and BMW dedicated 13pin fully populated caravan wiring. Nothing can be seen once neck is removed (quick release/no tools)
2019 Volkswagen T6 Transporter installed with the 321651 Westfalia detachable tow bar and Right Connections dedicated VW Approved wiring. The dedicated wiring automatically turns off rear parking sensors and also monitors the trailers bulbs, giving you an visual warning on the dash if any were to fail.

Once the electrical socket is connected the vehicle will enter ‘towing mode’, this changes towing related characteristics on the vehicle. eg; Turning off unwanted features like rear fog light (stops glare) and rear parking sensors (unwanted beeps when reversing whilst towing). The Skoda Kodiaq ‘bulb monitoring’ systems will also be extended to cover the trailer/caravan too. Various other safety features are enabled at like E-TSP (electronic trailer stability program) and adjustment of suspension and brake settings (if vehicle is equipped).

2020 mk8 Ford Fiesta ST Line installed with a removable Tow Trust swan neck tow bar and Ford dedicated trailer socket all coded into the cars ECU. Really discreet and neat overall finish once towing neck is quick released (detached) and socket is rotated upwards behind the bumper.

Our customer choose a Fixed Swan towbar for his 2020 Kodiaq Sport Line, this did not cause any day to day issues with the rear parking sensors. It is very helpful that you can see the towball in the reversing camera (see picture below).
2019 Mercedes E53 AMG Estate (s213 chassis) installed with a detachable tow bar and 13pin Mercedes dedicated wiring harness. This E53 AMG has a 1900kg towing capacity which opens options for towing caravans, horse boxes or perhaps just your cycle carrier.
Once the detachable swan neck towbar has been removed and towing socket swiveled up nothing can be seen when viewing from behind.
Slight modification required to the underside of the lower central bumper diffuser. The Mercedes keyless boot/foot sensor was not moved so its function is not affected.

2019 Audi A3 Sportback (8v chassis) installed with a Westfalia detachable swan neck towbar and Audi Dedicated and Approved wiring loom. This audi a3 hatchback has the ‘shelf’ style rear bumper which hides the towing socket whilst not is use and the housing in which the detachable neck locks into.
2021 Vauxhall Combo Life MPV installed with a Fixed Flange tow bar and 7pin (12n) towing electrics using a Vauxhall dedicated CAN wiring kit which integrates into the Vauxhall electrics safely. This Fixed Flange tow bar did not affect the daily operation of the factory fitted rear parking sensors but as an enhanced feature the Vauxhall dedicated wiring kit automatically turns the parking sensors off when towing, this required use to re-programme the cars ECU as part of the installation.

Minimal modification to the lower central (black plastic) part of the AMG bumper that cant be seen unless you are underneath the car. This towbar kit is compatible with 2020 onwards Mercedes GLA models plus 2018 onwards A-Class models (w177 chassis).
Jaguar XE Detachable tow bar installation using the Brink system.
2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 installed with a PCT detachable towbar and 13pin cycle carrier socket. We have used a Hyundai dedicated wiring harness. We have trimmed the underside of the rear bumper. Once neck is detached and socket is rotated upward behind bumper the towbar and socket are 98% hidden.
With over 1600kg towing capacity this fully electric Hyundai will be capable of towing a sizable caravan if required!

This vehicle does not have a spare wheel underneath.
The tow bar and electrical socket is completely hidden once detached.

2022 Volkswagen ID.3 installed with a Brink cycle carrier specific towbar kit. We have used VW dedicated wiring which we code to the vehicle to ensure correct functionality.
Compatible with most (not all) cycle carriers, please note special tow ball design to hinder towing as this fully electric ID.3 has no towing capacity.
2020 Audi A6 Estate (c8 chassis) installed with a removable (quick release) Westfalia detachable tow bar and Audi dedicated and Approved 13pin electrical socket. This Audi a6 40 TDi will automatically enable Towing Mode once you have connected the towing socket giving enhanced towing features.
2021 Renault Kadjar installed with a detachable swan neck tow bar and 7pin Renault dedicated wiring. No bumper cuts required and once removable neck is detached (quick release) and socket is swiveled up behind bumper nothing can be seen. Also available in 13pin.

2022 MG HS plug-in hybrid (PHEV) installed with a detachable swan neck towbar and 13pin caravan electrics. We have used a MG Dedicated wiring loom which turns off the rear parking sensors when towing.
2022 Ford Kuga mk3 (CX482 chasssis) installed with a Tow-Trust fixed swan neck towbar and 13pin Ford dedicated wiring which code into the car’s ECU. The new Kuga is a ST-Line X model that dosent require any visible bumper modification, just a little modification underneath the lower rear bumper valance.
This fixed towbar does not interfere with the vehicles rear parking sensors when you are not towing.
